This July, Cork & Candles is capturing that nostalgic summer feeling with our Candle of the Month: The Ice Cream Sundae & Float. It’s playful, custom, and completely unique, and yes, it actually looks like a sundae. Topped with whipped wax, a cherry, and even a metal spoon, this candle is more than a craft project, it’s a full-on summer experience.
A Candle That Smells Like Your Favorite Summer Treat
The Ice Cream Sundae & Float candle is part of Cork & Candles’ novelty experience, a hands-on workshop where guests create custom candles from start to finish.
July’s featured scents are all inspired by the core Neapolitan staples: vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. You’ll choose your favorite blend at the scent bar, pour your candle into a float-style glass, and decorate the top with soft whipped wax, sprinkles of color, and a finishing touch of wax embeds (think cherries, strawberries, bananas, and candy) that looks good enough to eat.
A Fun Summer Activity for All Ages
Whether you’re looking for a unique date night, a family-friendly outing, a kid’s birthday celebration, or a relaxing solo experience, this candle-making activity is a perfect way to slow down and savor the season. Each reservation lasts about 90 minutes, giving guests plenty of time to enjoy both the creative process and the space itself. And since it’s BYOB, feel free to bring along your favorite brand of wine, beer, or champagne to enjoy during the experience.
