Cauldron Graveyard Candle Making in Philadelphia (All October)

September 22, 2025

Looking for fall things to do in Philadelphia that are equal parts cozy and creepy? Meet Cork & Candles’ Cauldron Graveyard candle-making experience, a 90-minute hands-on BYOB workshop where you build your own haunted mini-graveyard in a black witch’s cauldron. It’s the most delightfully dark entry on your list of things to do for Halloween in Philadelphia. Our novelty candle making experiences are kid-friendly, giving them the opportunity to be creative and explore new mediums. It’s a creative twist on Halloween activities you won’t find anywhere else.

When & Where

Starting Wednesday, October 1, the experience runs all month long, Sundays through Thursdays at every Cork & Candles location: King of Prussia, Center City, University City, and Ardmore, PA. You can make a reservation on our website by clicking this link, and select the location that best suits your plans. We’re BYOB, so bring your own beverage and light snacks to enjoy during your candle making experience.

What You’ll Make

You’ll pour and perfect a spooky scene in a cauldron filled with wax skulls, pumpkins, ghosts, and tombstones that rise from the surface while you sculpt a gritty, dirt-like texture using tools. For the final flourish, sprinkle crystals for a moonlit shimmer that makes your candle look straight out of a witch’s workshop.
