This August, Cork & Candles is serving up a serious dose of childhood nostalgia with our Candle of the Month: The Cereal Bowl Candle. Bright, sweet, and a little loopy (in the best way), this candle is a tribute to Saturday morning cartoons, sugary breakfasts, and simpler times. It actually looks and smells like a bowl of Foot Loops cereal, spoon and all.
A Candle That Smells as Fun as It Looks
The Cereal Bowl candle is part of our novelty candle experience, Cork & Candles’ hands-on workshop where guests pour, decorate, and customize their own creations.
This month’s featured scent smells just like your favorite fruity cereal with hints of zesty lemon, sugary berries, cherry candy, and that signature sweet vanilla finish. During the workshop, you’ll start by pouring creamy white wax, our “milk”, into the cereal bowl. Then, you’ll get to pick out your favorite Froot Loop colors to decorate however you like, even embedding them partially into the wax so they look like they’re soaking in milk. The shiny metal spoon hardens into the wax, completing the look. It’s colorful, nostalgic, and almost too cute to light (almost).

Whether you’re planning a playful date, a fun family afternoon, or just want to relive your inner child’s breakfast dreams, this candle-making activity is a joy from start to finish. Each reservation lasts about 90 minutes and includes everything you need to create your cereal masterpiece. Plus, it’s BYOB, so bring your bubbly and sip while you swirl.
The Cereal Bowl Candle class runs from August 3rd through August 31st and is available at all Cork & Candles scent bar locations. Visit us in Philadelphia Center City, Philadelphia University City, Ardmore PA, and King of Prussia PA to take part in this month’s Novelty Experience.
