These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Cork & Candles website at www.corkandcandles.comand our products and services (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Who We Are

The Services are provided by Cork & Candles (“Cork & Candles,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), with locations in King of Prussia, Center City Philadelphia, and Ardmore, Pennsylvania.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to book an experience or purchase a gift card. Guests consuming alcoholic beverages must be 21 or older with valid ID. Cork & Candles is a BYOB experience; you are responsible for compliance with all applicable alcohol laws.

3. Bookings, Payments & Cancellations

Reservations are processed through our third-party booking platforms. By booking, you agree to the cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policies disclosed at the time of booking. Cork & Candles reserves the right to reschedule or cancel sessions due to staffing, safety, or other operational reasons; in those cases we will work with you to rebook or issue a refund.

Gift cards are non-refundable, are not redeemable for cash except where required by law, and may not be replaced if lost or stolen.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Services in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services, servers, or networks connected to the Services.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services, other accounts, or computer systems.
• Use the Services to transmit malware, spam, or harassing communications.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the website—including the Cork & Candles name, logos, photos, graphics, scent names, and copy—is owned by Cork & Candles or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use this content without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.

6. SMS / Text Messaging Program

Cork & Candles SMS

1. By opting in to the Cork & Candles SMS program, you consent to receive recurring automated marketing and transactional text messages from Cork & Candles, including booking confirmations and reminders, special offers, event announcements, and updates about new experiences and locations.
2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the short code. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
3. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at create@corkandcandles.com.
4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will receive up to 6 messages per month. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.

7. Third-Party Services & Links

The website may contain links to third-party websites or services (including booking, gift card, and payment platforms). Cork & Candles is not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Candle making involves hot wax, fragrance oils, and open flame. Guests participate at their own risk and agree to follow all on-site safety instructions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cork & Candles, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to Cork & Candles in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cork & Candles and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Services or your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
